Our Adventures
Follow along as we share stories, photos, and maybe even videos, of our joys, triumphs, and turmoils as we slowly sail the bays, seas, and oceans.
We shoved off from Solomons Island, Maryland on December 3, 2018 and sailed down the Chesapeake Bay and eastern seaboard throughout December, enjoying planned and unplanned stops. After a rough few weeks of constantly breaking equipment (see Blogs for more detail), we spent a week in Jamaica before deciding to postpone our planned transit through the Panama Canal and Pacific Ocean crossing. We updated our “plan” to spend a few months in the Caribbean and Bahamas while we repair our broken parts and reevaluate our larger plan.
We hope you enjoy our tales of how this journey enriches our lives as we experience new lands, cultures, and friendships, on and off our sailboat, Lady Sun Dream.
